Resumen
Esta investigación estudia el impacto y efectividad de los recursos multimedia en el proceso de aprendizaje. Se recolectó mediante un cuestionario la opinión de docentes y alumnos de una primaria en México sobre el uso de herramientas tecnológicas en el aula. Se encontró que las adecuaciones que el profesor realice en su labor impactan positiva o negativamente en el desempeño académico de los alumnos; negativamente cuando lo realiza de manera arbitraria y sin considerar las características y necesidades de los alumnos; positivamente, si aplica recursos tecnológicos de vanguardia que propicien la interacción constante de los alumnos. Los resultados muestran que los docentes se mantienen positivos acerca de la implementación y uso de recursos multimedia; sin embargo, los alumnos opinan diferente debido a su preferencia hacia ciertas materias.
Abstract
This research studies the impact and effectiveness of multimedia resources in the learning process. The opinion of teachers and students of primary school was recollected through surveys and interviews regarding the use of technological tools in the classroom. The findings shows that the adjustments the professor makes to the teaching process has a positive or negative impact in the academic performance of the students: negative when they make it arbitrarily without considering the needs of the students and positive if they use leading edge technological resources to encourage interaction. The results show that the teachers are positive about the adaptation and use of multimedia contents; however, the students think differently due to their preferences to certain subjects.
