Introducción al estudio de la Bioquímica

Biochemistry is a discipline that together with Organic Chemistry
allow or facilitate laying the groundwork for understanding the phenomena thatoccur in microorganisms and their role in biochemical processes.

Biochemistry is one of the disciplines that has achieved the greatest development in the 20th century. The work of biochemists in such important techniques as nutrition, disease control and crop protection has provided contributions important in the task of feeding the world population. In addition, the elevated scientific development achieved by biochemistry in recent years has contributed to increase the knowledge of the chemical bases of life.
